• Oversee data mining and collection processes while ensuring governance alongside data architecture and business intelligence teams.
• Maintain the quality and integrity of data.
• Analyze and interpret data challenges; convert findings into impactful information and visual representations for executive leadership, market leaders, and other departmental heads.
• Collaborate with CX leadership to conceptualize, develop, plan, and prioritize data projects.
• Create analytical systems and predictive models to address ongoing and future data requirements.
• Assess and test the performance of suggested solutions, quantify results, and manage the tuning cycle for continuous enhancement of systems and models.
• Innovate with new models and techniques to ensure our solutions evolve alongside our needs.
• Align all data initiatives with the organization’s objectives.
• Establish relationships with managers and leaders to identify analytical opportunities and formulate delivery plans that ensure we are equipped to support quality business cases and achieve ROI.
• Lead analytical discussions within the business regarding “the art of the possible using data science,” examine data from a modeling viewpoint, and conduct initial exploratory data analysis to evaluate business value.
• Ensure that model implementations comply with regulatory standards and provide comprehensive documentation for support.
• Manage analytical projects and coordinate activities with other shared service partners by prioritizing pertinent tasks and offering subject matter expertise.
• Engage in personal development to keep skills and knowledge current.
• A minimum of seven (7) years of relevant experience in the analytical field - required.
• At least seven (7) years of experience in data science - preferred.
• In-depth understanding of statistical and data mining methods and their applications.
• Proficient in the development of statistical and analytical models.
• Extensive knowledge of data modeling techniques and tools such as R, Python, SAS, etc.
• Advanced proficiency in visualization tools like Power BI, Tableau, Quik, etc.
• A Master's Degree in Computational Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field - preferred.
• Certification as a specialist in predictive analytics or other data science-related credentials - preferred.
