Senior Data Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Convert business challenges into analytical inquiries, hypotheses, and metrics;

• Perform diagnostic analyses to uncover root causes, risks, and opportunities;

• Define, validate, and refine KPIs and business standards;

• Create analytical datasets and solution prototypes utilizing SQL and visualization tools;

• Transform analyses into clear, actionable insights to aid in decision-making;

• Leverage artificial intelligence to enhance productivity and improve solution quality, while responsibly and critically evaluating results;

• Collaborate with data engineering and other departments to develop and enhance analytical solutions;

• Share expertise and contribute to the growth of the team.

⛳️ Requirements

• Significant experience in data analysis and close collaboration with business teams;

• Advanced SQL proficiency for modeling, transformation, and the construction of analytical datasets, with a focus on granularity, data quality, and consistency;

• Experience with Python and a solid understanding of applied statistics for conducting analyses and detecting patterns;

• Proven experience in building dashboards and visualizations using Power BI, Looker, Databricks Dashboards, or similar tools;

• Capability to structure complex problems, define metrics, and suggest business recommendations;

• Practical experience with artificial intelligence tools, copilots, or development assistants;

• Experience in tagging, measuring, and analyzing user behavior in digital products, including defining events, parameters, journeys, and validation criteria;

• Autonomy, critical thinking, a sense of urgency, and the ability to prioritize in dynamic and loosely structured environments;

• Clear communication skills and the ability to present analyses and influence decisions among technical audiences, business areas, and leadership.

• **Preferred qualifications**

• Experience with Databricks or Lakehouse environments;

• Experience in creating AI agents or assistants;

• Familiarity with experimentation, A/B testing, or advanced statistical methods;

• Knowledge of the education sector.
