This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.
• Act as the main reporting and metrics source for the 100TB cloud migration.
• Produce quick turnaround data reports and assess migration speed.
• Develop visual representations for bi-weekly Agile sprint assessments and stakeholder updates.
• Monitor and report on the daily activities of the data team.
• Create performance metrics that include migration speed, data validation success rates, and backlog reduction.
• Perform rapid SQL queries and ad-hoc data extractions.
• Analyze synchronization errors and assist the migration engineering team in overcoming obstacles during active sprints.
• Oversee the operational activities of the data migration team.
• Measure KPIs related to the 100TB data transfer, application transitions, and ATO/RMF artifact completion.
• Design and manage streamlined real-time dashboards for migration health.
• Compile incident-tracking reports for the forthcoming 24/7 Tier 1/Tier 2 helpdesk.
• Create post-migration data integrity and FIAR compliance summary reports for the Authorizing Official and auditors.
• Comply with standard working hours, adhere to deadlines, follow company policies, engage with supervisors, and complete assigned responsibilities.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related discipline.
• Over 4 years of experience with ERP, HR, payroll, or financial systems like JAMIS, ADP, or similar platforms.
• Strong grasp of Agile methodologies, sprint planning, and the measurement/reporting of software and data engineering velocity.
• Familiarity with federal acquisition systems, FIAR compliance reporting, and DoD financial/procurement data.
• Knowledge of metrics for tracking large-scale cloud migrations.
• High proficiency in SQL and Excel.
• Strong skills in BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, and PowerPoint.
• Proficient in extracting data from Jira, Azure DevOps, or ServiceNow.
• Capability to perform under pressure and transition between technical investigations and leadership summary reports.
• Ability to convert complex technical processes into clear business implications.
• Skill in anticipating project managers' inquiries and proactively generating necessary reports.
• Capacity to obtain and maintain an active IAT2 certification.
• If applicable, a post-employment ethics letter is required for recent U.S. government employees if offered employment with VSolvit.
