Senior Data Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain.

📋 Description

• Collect, analyze, and document business and reporting requirements.

• Convert business needs into scalable analytics and reporting solutions.

• Create, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards, reports, and semantic models.

• Prepare, transform, and model data utilizing Microsoft Fabric and related technologies.

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to deliver insights and support data-driven decision-making.

• Ensure adherence to data quality, consistency, and governance standards.

• Conduct testing and validation of data models, reports, and analytics solutions.

• Develop and maintain both technical and functional documentation.

• Facilitate the adoption of self-service analytics across the organization.

• Work collaboratively within Agile teams and engage in Scrum ceremonies.

• Promote continuous improvement and contribute to the advancement of the data platform.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience as a Data Analyst providing reporting and analytics solutions.

• Strong proficiency with Power BI.

• Familiarity with Microsoft Fabric and contemporary cloud data platforms.

• Solid SQL skills, encompassing data analysis and query optimization.

• Experience in gathering and documenting business requirements.

• Direct experience working with business stakeholders.

• Understanding of data modeling and data warehousing principles.

• Experience with data quality, validation, and governance processes.

• Knowledge of Agile methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban.

• Excellent communication and presentation abilities.

• Capability to translate complex data into actionable business insights.

• Nice to have: Experience in Financial Services, Banking, Insurance, FinTech, or related sectors.

• Nice to have: Familiarity with Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Platform, or Databricks.

• Nice to have: Experience with AI-driven analytics, machine learning, or advanced analytics solutions.

• Nice to have: Microsoft certifications in Data Analytics, Fabric, Azure, or Data Engineering.

• Nice to have: Experience assisting in self-service analytics adoption initiatives.
