Senior Data Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with stakeholders to comprehend business requirements and determine the most pertinent analyses, KPIs, and success metrics.

• Assist stakeholders in establishing suitable objectives and defining measurable outcomes that align with business goals.

• Prepare and transform data utilizing advanced blending, refinement, and quality techniques, including large and complex datasets.

• Utilize statistical methods and intermediate data models/scenarios to assess trends, drivers, and potential outcomes.

• Develop clear and engaging data visualizations and narratives that are customized for the target audience.

• Independently lead and execute analytics projects, which includes scoping, planning, and managing deliverables to meet deadlines.

• Act as a subject matter expert within a designated domain and provide coaching and mentoring to junior team members.

• Acquire a working knowledge of related disciplines and understand how they impact analytics requirements and interpretations.

• Utilize approved AI tools to expedite analysis and deliverables while ensuring accountability for accuracy and quality.

• Create data products that cater to data consumers at various stages of their data literacy journey.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficient in understanding complex data structures and employing advanced data preparation, blending, refinement, and quality techniques, including big data.

• Experience in applying intermediate statistics to solve business challenges.

• Extensive experience with SQL and Python for data querying, collection, transformation, and analysis.

• Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Tableau and/or Power BI, with the capability to design dashboards and narratives for business audiences.

• Knowledge of advanced analytics/data platforms (e.g., Databricks or similar).

• Strong skills in project execution.

• Ability to craft effective prompts, refine outputs for quality enhancement, and integrate domain context and constraints.

• Background in analytics, reporting, or roles adjacent to data science.
