Senior Data Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with clinical, product, and operations teams to define and carry out analytics projects, establish reporting requirements, and convert business inquiries into data-driven insights.

• Analyze structured healthcare data (such as claims, eligibility, and prior authorization) to spot trends, monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), and bolster clinical and operational initiatives.

• Perform exploratory data analysis to reveal hidden patterns, correlations, and insights in medical claims data that aid in hypothesis creation and strategic planning.

• Create and sustain dashboards, visualizations, and regular reports to enhance transparency regarding performance and outcomes.

• Document methodologies, assumptions, and limitations for all analyses to guarantee clarity and reproducibility.

• Foster a data culture that emphasizes accuracy, transparency, and relevance to the business.

⛳️ Requirements

• 5–7 years of experience in data analysis, healthcare analytics, business intelligence, or a related field.

• Experience working with healthcare data (such as claims, eligibility, HCCs, and risk adjustment).

• Proficiency in SQL and experience in querying relational databases; familiarity with dbt and Python is desirable.

• Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Looker, Tableau, or similar).

• Strong Excel/Google Sheets skills for rapid modeling and reporting.

• Ability to work effectively with ambiguity and changing data sources; capable of validating, reconciling, and ensuring quality assurance of your own work.

• Excellent communication skills—you can convey complex analyses into clear narratives for non-technical stakeholders.
