Senior Data Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Take charge of client-focused analytics by creating, maintaining, and enhancing the dashboards and reports utilized in Quarterly Business Reviews and on-demand client inquiries.

• Collaborate closely with the Customer Success team to grasp client requirements, convert business inquiries into analytical frameworks, and provide insights that enhance client relationships.

• Design and develop high-quality LookML models, explores, and dashboards within Looker.

• Construct intricate SQL queries across Redshift, Aurora/MySQL, and Athena.

• Create Python scripts and notebooks for data manipulation, automated reporting, and analytical processes.

• Utilize AI tools in everyday analytics tasks.

• Recognize and promote AI-driven use cases within the analytics process.

• Actively investigate data to reveal trends, anomalies, and potential opportunities.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of professional experience in a data analyst, analytics engineer, or business intelligence-focused position.

• Extensive knowledge of Looker, with a robust command of LookML: developing and sustaining models, views, explores, derived tables, and parameterized dashboards.

• Advanced SQL skills: proficient in complex joins, window functions, CTEs, subqueries, and optimizing query performance.

• Strong Python capabilities for data analysis, scripting, and automation tasks.

• Familiarity with AI-enhanced development and analytics tools (e.g., Claude, ChatGPT, GitHub Copilot, Cursor).

• Keen interest in incorporating AI into analytics workflows.

• Self-motivated with a strong understanding of business dynamics.

• Exceptional communication and presentation abilities.
