This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.
• You will take charge of enhancing the vulnerability management process throughout the software development lifecycle by defining and organizing workflows, roles, and prioritization criteria that connect vulnerability detection to resolution.
• In this role, you will influence decisions regarding process efficiency and scalability, drawing on extensive technical expertise and a comprehensive understanding of processes and systems, serving as the bridge between technical teams, security leadership, and governance.
• You will structure and elevate the Vulnerability Management program, ensuring its integration with technical teams and security governance.
• Your responsibilities include defining and implementing a technical risk-based prioritization model that considers severity, exploitability, exposure, and business context.
• You will create dashboards and metrics for both executive and operational oversight of vulnerability exposure.
• Standardization of technical inputs will be essential to support formal risk, exception, and risk-acceptance processes in collaboration with the GRC team.
• You will facilitate forums and regular meetings to monitor vulnerabilities alongside multidisciplinary teams.
• Demonstrated experience in technology and information security, with practical involvement in Vulnerability Management, Cybersecurity, or AppSec.
• Experience in prioritizing vulnerabilities from a technical standpoint and collaborating with Engineering, Product, Infrastructure, and Governance teams.
• Familiarity with scanning tools, findings management, technical backlogs, and the creation of dashboards.
• Strong communication skills to convey information effectively to both technical and executive leadership.
• Profound understanding of the vulnerability lifecycle, management platforms, CVSS, and the concepts of criticality and exposure.
