Senior Cybersecurity Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.

📋 Description

• Safeguard enterprise technology environments by designing, implementing, and managing cybersecurity controls.

• Provide capabilities for threat detection and monitoring.

• Perform vulnerability management and assist with incident response.

• Offer guidance on security architecture and engage in risk assessment activities.

• Enhance operational security through policy enforcement and network segmentation.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.

• 5 years of pertinent experience in security engineering, threat detection, vulnerability management, and incident response.

• Proven ability to support IT/OT separation requirements and implement network segmentation practices.

• Experience in conducting risk assessments in accordance with security frameworks.

• Knowledge of industrial cybersecurity concepts and familiarity with SCADA/PLC/HMI environments.

• Capability to apply governance and compliance standards through operational controls.
