Senior Customer Delivery Consulting Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia.

📋 Description

• Strategize and implement solution validation activities in partnership with customers and internal stakeholders.

• Deploy and integrate intricate network platforms and technologies within laboratory settings.

• Assess architectures, create detailed test plans, and document outcomes effectively.

• Diagnose complex network challenges across routing, switching, VPN, and MPLS frameworks.

• Work closely with engineering teams to pinpoint issues and ensure successful solution implementation.

• Serve as the technical liaison for customers throughout the solution validation and delivery stages.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of practical experience with Catalyst 8000, ASR, and ISR platforms, along with substantial expertise in Cisco IOS-XE and IOS-XR.

• Proficient in customer interactions, adept at engaging directly with technical stakeholders.

• Practical experience in troubleshooting intricate enterprise or service provider network settings.

• Strong grasp of Layer 2 switching, Layer 3 routing, and routing protocols including OSPF, IS-IS, and BGP.

• Hands-on experience with VPN technologies such as IPsec, DMVPN, and IKE/ISAKMP.

• Comprehensive understanding of network services like NAT, QoS, SNMP, and TACACS.

• Proficient in English at an Upper-Intermediate to Advanced level, capable of leading customer meetings and generating technical documentation.

• Basic familiarity with YANG models, configuration management, APIs, and operational models (Nice to Have).

• Some background in automation or orchestration tools such as Python, Ansible, or Terraform (Nice to Have).

• Experience in supporting large-scale enterprise or service provider network implementations (Nice to Have).

• Knowledge of network management and monitoring tools (Nice to Have).

• Exposure to solution design concepts like DMVPN and hub-and-spoke topologies (Nice to Have).

• Possession of CCNA or CCNP level certification (Nice to Have).

• Familiarity with industry-standard network testing tools such as Spirent or Ixia (Nice to Have).
