Senior Cross-Cutting Researcher

📋 Description

• Develop ambitious research agendas that guide grantmaking decisions throughout the organization.

• Collaborate with grantmaking teams to rigorously evaluate and enhance their initiatives.

• Perform empirical evidence assessments and model cost-effectiveness.

• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior researchers.

• 5-10 years of professional experience after completing graduate studies before joining GiveWell.

• Advanced degrees in relevant fields with a focus on quantitative analysis.

• Excellent analytical and research capabilities.

• Proficiency with empirical tools for data-driven decision making.

• Openness to critically assess and refine research methodologies.
