This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.
• Develop, implement, monitor, and adjust statistical and machine learning models aimed at credit approval and profitability.
• Engage in the credit decision-making process, which includes suggesting credit limits and payment terms.
• Collaborate in the creation, analysis, review, and modification of the company's credit policies, considering market best practices and relevant regulations.
• Oversee newly implemented policies from both operational and performance viewpoints, assessing short-term indicators of new cohorts.
• Perform regular portfolio assessments to identify trends, risks, and areas for enhancement.
• Work closely with the credit desk, collections, finance, and systems/IT teams to ensure alignment of policies and procedures.
• Prepare analytical reports and presentations for senior management and internal stakeholders.
• Act as a technical resource for the team, sharing expertise and supporting the development of advanced analyses and models.
• Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Economics, Engineering, or a related discipline;
• Experience in banks, financial institutions, payment entities, and/or fintechs;
• Strong background in credit modeling;
• Familiarity with credit analysis tools, statistical/computational models, and credit management platforms;
• Advanced proficiency in Python, R, Databricks, and/or similar technologies;
• Experience in working with and analyzing large datasets;
• Understanding of credit regulations and compliance.
