This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Tennessee.
• Responsible for the coordination, supervision, and upkeep of the Credentialing and Reappointment processes.
• Facilitates all facets of credentialing, which includes the appointment and reappointment of Medical Staff and Allied Health Professionals.
• Ensures adherence to the standards set by accrediting and regulatory bodies.
• Manages and maintains practitioner database files along with other pertinent records.
• Prepares confidential or routine correspondence, reports, memoranda, and meeting minutes for the Department.
• A Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or Management.
• 3 to 5 years of experience in Credentialing.
• Certification as a Professional Credentialing Specialist from the National Association of Medical Staff Services.
• Familiarity with State regulatory requirements and accreditation standards, including TJC, NCQA, and AAAHC.
• Proficient in Visual Cactus, as well as Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint.
