This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Create a case theme that surpasses any plaintiff's attempts to evoke sympathy or anger.
• Reject mediocrity, the average, the standard, or the norm in all aspects.
• Take charge of court appearances, depositions, briefs, and trials independently.
• Collaborate effectively as part of a team, regardless of experience levels.
• Maintain regular communication with clients.
• Build and nurture relationships with both current and prospective clients of the firm.
• Provide guidance and leadership to less experienced attorneys.
• Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA accredited institution.
• Must hold a license to practice law in the State of California.
• Over 8 years of substantial litigation experience, particularly in litigation support, depositions, and trial preparation.
• At least 5 years of litigation experience focused on Lemon Law defense cases.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in CRLA, tenant advocacy, or housing litigation.
• At least 2 years of experience in General Liability defense.
• Capability to manage comprehensive case handling duties, encompassing all aspects of discovery and trial.
• Preferred experience in handling insurance defense cases.
• Familiarity with time management systems.
• Proficient in MS Suite, particularly Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Ability to think critically and act independently with minimal supervision.
• Excellent listening, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Professional appearance and demeanor are essential.
