This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Offer legal counsel to our revenue, marketing, and product divisions regarding intricate legal matters impacting SaaS, cloud-based software, digital health, data, AI-enabled, and connected medical device products and services.

• Provide legal assistance and guidance on regulatory, commercial, competition law matters, privacy (with specific expertise in HIPAA and US State privacy regulations), and federal and state healthcare fraud and abuse statutes.

• Evaluate and advise on partnerships involving healthcare providers, physician groups, IDTFs, DME suppliers, referral sources, and strategic partners.

• Possess a robust understanding of commercial contracting principles, encompassing contract drafting, negotiation, and interpretation of a diverse array of commercial agreements.

• Provide insights on innovative go-to-market strategies, including unique methods for reaching patients.

• Oversee disputes and legal proceedings that arise from commercial activities.


⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree and a Juris Doctorate or law degree from an accredited law school.

• A minimum of 7-10+ years of legal experience supporting technology, SaaS, software, digital health, healthcare technology, or medical device sectors.

• Extensive experience in negotiating complex commercial and technology agreements.

• Required experience in the healthcare, digital health, healthcare technology, DME, diagnostic testing, provider services, or medical device industries.

• Strong cross-functional collaboration skills, with the ability to strategically prioritize and adapt to a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.

• Must hold a valid and active license to practice law in California or any state in the United States.

• CIPP-US certification is preferred, though candidates willing to obtain certification within the first year will also be considered.
