This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Create a case theme that is more persuasive than any plaintiff's tactics aimed at evoking sympathy or anger.
• Reject mediocrity, the usual, the standard, or the norm in all aspects of work.
• Independently manage court appearances, depositions, briefs, and trials.
• Collaborate as part of a team with varying levels of experience.
• Engage in regular communication with clients.
• Build and maintain relationships with the firm's current and prospective clients.
• Offer leadership and guidance to less experienced attorneys.
• Juris Doctor (JD) from a school accredited by the ABA.
• Must hold a valid license in your state.
• A minimum of 8 years of substantial litigation experience, particularly in litigation support, deposition, and trial preparation.
• Capability to manage full case handling responsibilities, encompassing all aspects of discovery and trial.
• Prior experience in handling insurance defense cases is preferred.
• Familiarity with time management systems is required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Suite, especially Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Ability to think and operate independently with minimal oversight.
• Excellent listening, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Professional appearance and demeanor are essential.
