Senior Counsel, AI and Data – Pharma Experience Required

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.

📋 Description

• Offer specialized legal advice to various business divisions

• Draft, evaluate, and negotiate intricate commercial agreements

• Identify, examine, and evaluate legal risks while providing proactive recommendations

• Keep updated on pertinent changes in laws, regulations, and industry developments

• Work collaboratively with other members of the Legal and Compliance team as well as cross-functional groups

• Oversee relationships with external legal counsel and manage legal expenditures

⛳️ Requirements

• Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law institution

• 10 - 12+ years of pertinent legal experience, particularly in a similar position advising on technology, AI, data, or intellectual property issues

• Strong capability to evaluate legal matters associated with AI, data, and emerging technologies

• Proven track record of independently managing intricate, cross-functional legal issues and facilitating their resolution

• Excellent communication skills with the ability to provide practical, business-focused legal advice
