Senior Cost Manager / Quantity Surveyor – Data Center Construction

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Create and uphold comprehensive cost plans and estimates throughout the design and delivery stages.

• Compile and deliver monthly cost reports, executive summaries, and funding information to stakeholders.

• Consolidate all cost information sources for thorough cost validation and auditing processes.

• Spearhead the development of procurement strategies, evaluate contractor/subcontractor pricing, and conduct commercial negotiations.

• Track market trends and provide timely insights to inform decision-making.

• Prepare and present updates at the executive level, including cost estimate revisions.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Engineering, or a related discipline.

• 5–7+ years of experience in cost management or project controls, specifically in mission-critical settings.

• Experience in data center construction is mandatory.

• Solid understanding of budgeting, financial reporting, cost control systems, and Earned Value Management (EVM).

• Proficiency in procurement strategies and the commercial oversight of contractor/vendor agreements.

• Exceptional communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management capabilities.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
