
Senior Cost Manager β Quantity Surveyor, Data Center Construction

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
β’ Act as the main daily point of contact for clients on large-scale data center construction initiatives
β’ Guarantee the provision of disciplined, value-oriented cost management services
β’ Estimate and negotiate change orders throughout the entire construction lifecycle
β’ Collaborate with the design team and general contractor to develop accurate cost estimates
β’ Create clear and concise written evaluations of contractor submissions
β’ Coordinate various sources of cost information, including self-perform work, subcontractors, suppliers, and design quantities
β’ Oversee cost checks and perform valuations on extensive civil and infrastructure projects
β’ Generate precise monthly cost reports for client presentations and decision-making purposes
β’ Identify, coach, and mentor team members to enhance capabilities and ensure project success
β’ Bachelorβs degree in construction management, quantity surveying, engineering, or a related discipline
β’ At least 6β7 years of pertinent experience in cost management within the construction sector
β’ Proven experience supporting intricate, fast-paced construction programs
β’ RICS accreditation preferred or actively pursuing accreditation
β’ Strong comprehension of construction methodologies, procurement strategies, and commercial management principles
β’ Candidates must be physically located in the United States and legally authorized to work in the U.S.; remote work is only permitted within the United States.
