This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.
• Develops strategic communication plans to support initiatives that propel the business forward while understanding the objectives of the company and/or its business units.
• Crafts comprehensive communication plans that integrate complex change management practices and principles. Writes and refines articles, headlines, talking points, scripts, and other messaging.
• Designs and edits a variety of presentation materials.
• Oversees miscellaneous communication documents as required.
• Guides the visual elements to support broader communication needs.
• Keeps relevant parties informed of progress at all times.
• Aids in formulating strategies to advance organizational goals.
• Connects project objectives with other initiatives within the department.
• Positions an individual project within the larger context of its alignment with business goals.
• Manages specific projects while overseeing some peer responsibilities.
• Organizes and prepares for all-employee meetings and other major events, including collateral, scripting, presentations, and additional content.
• Directs colleagues and associates from other teams (such as graphic design, photography, video) on assigned communication projects.
• Analyzes information and proposes a variety of alternative solutions and recommendations for business unit partners and leadership.
• Introduces innovative and actionable solutions to challenges, identifying implications and outcomes of alternative strategies.
• Balances the interests of the business unit with those of the company.
• Collaborates with the people leader to create and maintain a scheduled deployment of recurring and new communications content to ensure timely publication that addresses business needs.
• Acts as a mentor for specialists while fostering the development of leadership skills.
• Bachelor's degree preferred in communications, journalism, or a related field.
• Proficient in English, as interaction will be with stakeholders in the US.
• At least five years of experience in a related communications role with escalating responsibilities. Proven experience in communicating within a multi-functional business and familiarity with various types of communication mediums (photography, video, web, etc.).
