Senior Corporate Accountant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Accountable for the complete accounting cycle for various entities across different jurisdictions, encompassing the general ledger, month-end closing, and account reconciliations.

• Assist with statutory reporting and ensure compliance with local accounting standards in multiple jurisdictions.

• Lead the monthly and quarterly closing processes and generate financial reports for assigned entities.

• Collaborate with field exploration teams to address project accounting and reporting requirements.

• Manage invoice processing through the accounts payable workflow and supervise vendor compliance for various entities across different jurisdictions.

• Aid in adherence to annual statutory reporting, indirect tax submissions, and other reporting obligations across multiple countries.

• Facilitate the flow of information and documentation for statutory and other audits.

• Recognize, suggest, and assist in implementing opportunities to automate workflows and enhance the efficiency of accounting processes.

• Participate in ad hoc projects across the accounting and operations departments.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in accounting with a minimum of 3 years of accounting experience.

• Experience in working with international operations.

• Proficiency with NetSuite or similar accounting software.

• Exceptional organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.

• Capability to swiftly adapt to new tools and technologies as required and to continuously solve novel problems.

• Eagerness to learn about mineral exploration and closely collaborate with exploration project teams.

• Strong degree of independence and ability to operate effectively with minimal supervision.

• Flexibility to accommodate meetings with overseas staff/vendors.

• Commitment to contributing to the overall success of the company and a readiness to assist in various areas as needed.
