Senior Copywriter, Global Brand Team – Contractor Role

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +3 more states.

📋 Description

• Oversee the creation of copy for customer marketing and brand partnership initiatives, including customer stories, campaigns, co-branded activations, editorial content, digital media, social platforms, and experiential engagements.

• Develop and sustain narrative consistency across intricate, multi-format programs.

• Conduct customer interviews and convert complex business results into relatable and captivating narratives.

• Act as the primary creative voice and lead copywriter within cross-functional teams.

• Collaborate with creative directors, designers, strategists, and brand partnership managers from the initial brief to final delivery.

• Craft campaign headlines, social media content, long-form articles, and editorial pieces.

• Propel creative concept development and brainstorming sessions.

• Maintain and enhance the Salesforce brand voice and tone.

• Manage various workstreams across teams and programs while adhering to deadlines.

• Integrate feedback effectively and iterate swiftly.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 7 years of copywriting experience.

• Proven success in brand marketing, customer engagement, integrated campaigns, or editorial environments.

• A portfolio showcasing a range of narratives and strategic insights.

• Capability to simplify complex technology or B2B topics into relatable and engaging stories.

• Profound understanding of brand voice, including its application, protection, and evolution across various formats and partnership scenarios.

• Experience in leading copy on cross-functional creative teams.

• Outstanding editorial skills: structure, rhythm, clarity, and concise language use.

• Comfortable operating at both strategic and execution levels.

• Previous experience with brand partnerships, sponsorships, or co-branded initiatives is highly desirable.

• Agency experience is an advantage.
