Freelance Copywriter, German, B2B Communities

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Develop German-language content that offers clarity, inspiration, and value to leaders in large organizations.

• Generate content aimed at attracting new members to the German-speaking communities.

• Craft LinkedIn posts targeted at senior professionals.

• Create LinkedIn newsletters and email newsletters.

• Write in-depth articles and case studies based on expert interviews.

• Produce show notes, episode titles, and episode descriptions.

• Design interview guides that include agendas and core questions.

• Draft follow-up posts for city and community events.

• Develop short-form content for WhatsApp and unique formats like playbooks.

• Utilize Claude or ChatGPT for research, drafting, structuring, and preparing transcripts.

• Interact with clients to gather feedback and approvals, incorporating necessary revisions.

• Collaborate with the Content Coordinator and the content team.

• Publish and schedule content using designated tools.

• Track content performance and contribute to the ongoing refinement of the content strategy.

⛳️ Requirements

• Native-level proficiency in German is essential.

• English language skills at a minimum of B2 level, with C1 being preferable.

• A minimum of 3 years of experience as a copywriter or content writer is required.

• A robust portfolio of German-language texts in at least two different formats is necessary.

• Experience in a B2B or digital media environment is preferred.

• Familiarity with writing for a professional or executive audience is advantageous.

• Basic understanding of on-page SEO is beneficial.

• Experience with tools such as Claude or ChatGPT, Google Workspace, ClickUp, Canva, Slack, and a CMS like Sanity is a plus.

• Confident use of GenAI tools along with the capability to critically assess and edit AI-generated text.

• Ability to produce cleanly formatted and publication-ready texts without the need for rework.

• Capable of independently communicating with community hosts and clients.

• Competence in managing deadlines independently while consistently adhering to community guidelines.

• Strong understanding of tone and target audience.

• Availability for at least 10 hours per week.
