This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +7 more states.
• Lead the development and enhancement of written content across various platforms, including websites, campaigns, emails, landing pages, social media, paid advertisements, and marketing materials — encompassing blog articles, case studies, UX copy, support resources, and more.
• Create, edit, and proofread compelling copy that drives action — prompting users to click, purchase, sign up, and trust our brand.
• Conduct research on topics and work alongside internal subject matter experts to generate precise and insightful content.
• Establish and uphold brand voice guidelines, messaging frameworks, and editorial standards — ensuring team alignment as products and priorities change.
• Collaborate with Product and Marketing teams on the naming, positioning, and packaging of both new and existing products, features, and initiatives.
• Generate and maintain sales enablement resources for our Sales and Artist Partnerships teams — including one-sheets, objection handling guides, case studies, and pitch-ready materials that remain relevant as products and positioning adapt.
• Ensure content remains accurate and up-to-date across all platforms — managing an organized library of sales materials and resources, along with regular updates to landing pages, help content, and other evergreen assets.
• Partner with the Editor of Hypebot (Bandsintown’s proprietary music industry publication) to identify story opportunities, syndicate Hypebot content across Bandsintown channels, and curate Bandsintown’s presence within the publication.
• Oversee content operations from start to finish: content planning, tools and workflows, intake and prioritization, and reporting.
• Leverage Claude as a productivity enhancer — maintain brand voice, style guides, and messaging context in Claude so that every output is built on a solid foundation, refine copy, explore different perspectives, and ensure quality assurance against our standards.
• 5–8+ years of experience in copywriting and content strategy.
• Knowledge of the music industry — you possess an understanding of the ecosystem and can write authentically for artists, promoters, and venues.
• A portfolio showcasing versatility across various tones, formats, and audiences — both B2B and B2C, long-form and short.
• A data-driven mindset — you understand the significance of content metrics and their implications.
• Highly organized and methodical in your approach to managing a large volume of content — you keep things fresh and dynamic without losing sight of the details.
• Strong proficiency with AI tools and a keen sense of when and how to enhance output.
