This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Lead the editorial strategy for Level's content across various owned channels, which include the website, blog, podcast, newsletter, social media, and sales enablement.
• Develop and manage a 90-day content calendar that aligns with go-to-market priorities, active verticals, events, conferences, and sales requirements.
• Transform Level’s internal expertise into unique content that practitioners, buyers, and clients find credible and valuable enough to share.
• Establish efficient content systems: Create repeatable workflows, templates, briefs, review processes, and production systems to enhance the efficiency and consistency of content creation.
• Oversee AI-integrated content workflows: Leverage AI tools for research, drafting, repurposing, summarization, content scoring, search optimization, and distribution planning while ensuring high editorial quality and human judgment.
• Direct the web content strategy: Guide content for vertical pages, service pages, campaign landing pages, and other essential website assets in collaboration with design, SEO, and AI search teams.
• Optimize content for search and AI discovery: Organize content to perform effectively across both traditional organic search and AI-driven discovery platforms like Google AI Overviews, ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Gemini.
• Manage case study strategy: Own the pipeline, standards, production, and publishing schedule for case studies, including narratives developed in Level’s CAISR format: Challenge, Analysis, Insight, Strategy, Result.
• Assist in sales enablement: Collaborate with sales and marketing leaders to create one-pagers, vertical-specific presentations, objection-handling content, competitive positioning materials, and other resources that advance opportunities.
• Coordinate with stakeholders: Collaborate with account leads, strategists, subject matter experts, clients, freelancers, contractors, and internal teams to publish accurate, approved, and on-brand content.
• Repurpose content strategically: Convert podcasts, events, case studies, internal expertise, and campaign insights into valuable content across various formats and channels.
• Maintain high quality standards: Safeguard Level’s voice, standards, accuracy, and credibility in all published content.
• Contribute beyond core responsibilities: Depending on your skills, you may also assist with podcast operations, agency award submissions, event content strategy, conference recaps, or PR-related content.
• Over 5 years of content experience, having crafted content in professional settings, with at least 2 years in a strategy, senior individual contributor, or team lead role.
• Exceptional writing and editorial judgment, with the ability to distill complex ideas, performance data, strategies, and stakeholder input into clear and compelling narratives.
• Proven experience in content strategy, having managed content plans, editorial direction, calendars, channel strategies, and production priorities rather than just individual tasks.
• Familiarity with building content systems, knowing how to create repeatable workflows, templates, approval processes, and production pipelines that facilitate team scalability.
• Hands-on experience with AI content tools, having utilized them in real workflows for research, drafting, repurposing, summarization, content scoring, search optimization, or workflow design.
• Strong project management skills, capable of managing multiple simultaneous workstreams, setting deadlines, keeping stakeholders engaged, and following through independently.
• Proficient in stakeholder management, comfortable interviewing and coordinating with executives, internal experts, account leads, sales teams, clients, freelancers, and contractors.
• Experience in producing long-form content such as case studies, research reports, white papers, editorial articles, thought leadership pieces, or sales enablement materials.
• Comfort conducting qualitative interviews with internal and external stakeholders and transforming raw input into valuable content.
• High quality standards, adept at identifying gaps, inconsistencies, unclear claims, weak structure, and off-brand language before content publication.
• Self-directed work habits, organized and proactive, with a comfort level in using project management tools to maintain visibility and progress.
• Familiarity with WordPress, possessing experience in publishing or editing web content in WordPress, along with a basic understanding of HTML/CSS for formatting and on-page edits.
