📋 Description

• Take charge of Instrumentl’s content ecosystem as we transition from a grant discovery tool to a comprehensive grant operating system.

• Propel full-funnel growth and define how nonprofits discover and rely on Instrumentl as an indispensable platform.

• Collaborate with product growth teams, agencies, and freelancers to enhance SEO and GEO traffic on a quarterly basis.

• Direct keyword and topic strategies, set high standards for editorial quality, and cultivate expertise in grants and nonprofit fundraising.

• Stay updated on the impact of generative search on content distribution and provide insights on testing strategies.

• Develop and maintain Instrumentl’s editorial vision and brand voice through blogs, newsletters, social media, and events.

• Create and manage a content calendar ensuring that every asset delivers value, transforming a single webinar or report into various downstream pieces across multiple channels.

• Engage in original research, product copy, and key editorial projects where sound judgment is crucial.

• Collaborate with product marketing and growth teams on advertising campaigns, gated content, landing pages, sales materials, and nurturing sequences.

• Establish AI workflows that enable the team to quickly draft and quality-check on-brand content without compromising our voice.

• Oversee a team of freelancers and agencies to execute projects at scale.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 6 years of experience in content marketing or content strategy.

• Proven experience managing both demand-generation content (SEO, gated assets) and editorial/brand-building content (thought leadership, original research).

• Proficiency in SEO and GEO: keyword strategy, on-page implementation, and the fundamentals of technical SEO.

• Exceptional writing skills with strong editorial judgment: able to identify poor quality AI content, superficial filler, or awkward phrasing at a glance.

• Capability to quickly gain subject matter expertise in complex areas through research and interviews with subject matter experts.

• Experience working with nonprofit, social impact, or mission-driven organizations.

• Familiarity with grants, fundraising, or nonprofit operations.

• Experience in managing relationships with freelancers and agencies.

🏝️ Benefits

• Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance coverage for employees (50% coverage for dependents).

• Generous paid time off, including parental leave.

• 401(k) plan.

• Company-provided laptop and a home office stipend.
