Senior Consulting Engineer – Physical Security

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +4 more states.

📋 Description

• Conduct client consultations: plan, design, implement, and support Physical Security Systems.

• Create and execute the technical architecture and physical design of the network: assess existing Physical Security Systems and propose solutions.

• Install, configure, and test Physical Security Systems that encompass video surveillance, access control, sensors, air quality management, and third-party integrations.

• Diagnose, maintain, upgrade, and provide solutions for intricate hardware/software issues.

• Support Account Managers during the sales process by informing customers about new technologies in the Physical Security domain.

• Identify and relay potential cross-selling opportunities to the sales team.

• Assist in managing projects by utilizing CDW's project management methodology.

• Adhere to life-cycle oriented processes and procedures.

• Guarantee a reliable performance environment for enterprise computer applications.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree and over 5 years of experience in delivering complex technical solutions, including planning, development, implementation, and support.

• More than 9 years of experience in delivering complex technical solutions, including planning, development, implementation, and support.

• Practical experience with Genetec or Verkada systems engineering.

• Willingness to work weekends and/or off hours as needed to fulfill clients' requirements.

• Ability to travel between 25%-50%.

• Strong attention to detail regarding inventory and logistics.

• At least 2 years of relevant experience in infrastructure/network environments, with some background in network engineering.

• 2 years of consulting experience is a plus.

• Axis Certified Professional Certification is a plus.

• Experience with Milestone systems engineering is a plus.
