Senior Consultative Pharmacist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.

📋 Description

• Engages with patients, pharmacies, and healthcare providers to ensure optimal medication therapy for patient care.

• Provides guidance on the safe, precise, and timely use of medications.

• Develops, implements, assesses, and modifies medication care plans as necessary.

• Oversees medication therapy and adjusts plans when appropriate.

• Acts as the medication authority in targeted proactive health initiatives aimed at enhancing health outcomes for patients with particular conditions.

• Starts to shape the strategic direction of the department.

• Makes decisions on moderately complex to complex matters concerning the technical approach for various project components.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required.

• Must hold an active license with the Board of Pharmacy in the relevant state.

• Capability to engage in Federal prescription programs.

• Skilled in problem-solving and encouraging collaborative solutions among colleagues.

• A work ethic characterized by focus, accuracy, and high productivity.

• Computer proficiency is essential.

• PharmD is preferred.

• Over 3 years of experience in a high-volume community or mail order pharmacy practice environment.
