Senior Consultant, Value Engineering – Public Sector

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• AI Discovery & Solutioning: Grasp customers' AI strategies and vital business challenges. As a Celonis product and domain expert, identify the optimal problem-solution fit and convert customer needs into innovative solutions that make a significant impact.

• Hackathons & Prototyping: Embrace creative thinking, maintain a "can-do" mindset, and tackle complex challenges. Utilize state-of-the-art AI technologies to swiftly create innovative prototypes during customer hackathons that address critical business issues.

• Agentic Process Transformation: Assist our clients in realizing tangible ROI from AI implementations at scale, facilitating a profound transition in business operations from conventional, rule-based automation to the deployment of autonomous AI agents powered by our Celonis Process Intelligence Platform.

• Proof projects: Oversee the complete execution of mission-critical Proof-of-Value projects, including architecture, and deliver secure, scalable LLM/agent systems with RAG, tools, and guardrails; integrating with enterprise data, identity, and compliance frameworks.

• Ensure Successful Project Outcome: Value Engineers remain engaged with projects until mutually agreed value and adoption benchmarks are achieved.

• Specialize in Domains or Industries: To enhance knowledge dissemination across the organization, Value Engineers focus on specific domains (e.g., supply chain) and industries.

⛳️ Requirements

• More than 5 years of experience in leading technical pre-sales, which includes defining AI roadmaps, constructing compelling ROI/TCO business cases, and prototyping machine learning and generative AI solutions.

• Familiarity with generative AI techniques such as RAG, few-shot learning, prompt engineering, multi-agent orchestration, multimodal understanding, or fine-tuning used to develop high-impact applications like intelligent chatbots and automated text processors.

• Knowledge of business processes across various sectors (like Supply Chain or Finance) with the capacity to translate overarching business needs into specific AI applications.

• Proficient in Python and familiar with common ML libraries (such as LangChain, pandas, pydantic, sklearn, PyTorch), along with data engineering tools and technologies.

• Excellent presentation skills for engaging both internal and external stakeholders (including executives), whether in whiteboarding sessions or formal presentations and demonstrations.

• A Bachelor’s Degree is required, while a Master’s Degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or related fields, or equivalent work experience is preferred.

• Exceptional communication and presentation abilities in both English and German. The position necessitates a high level of fluency in German.
