Senior Consultant – SAP S/4HANA Finance

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Design and configure solutions for key S/4HANA Finance components, including General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Asset Accounting, and Controlling (CO).

• Facilitate or assist in workshops to collect requirements and convert them into effective SAP solutions.

• Support and enhance comprehensive finance processes, primarily Record to Report (R2R), ensuring integration with Procure to Pay (P2P) and Order to Cash (O2C).

• Contribute to the implementation, enhancement, and rollout of S/4HANA environments.

• Engage in data migration, reconciliation, testing, and defect resolution activities.

• Diagnose and resolve intricate issues in live systems, pinpointing root causes across integrated finance processes.

• Collaborate with business users to enhance the accuracy, efficiency, and usability of financial processes.

• Assist with continuous system improvements and standardization projects.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive functional expertise in SAP FICO with hands-on experience in S/4HANA Finance.

• Practical configuration experience across essential finance processes.

• Proven track record in supporting implementations, upgrades, or production environments.

• Strong understanding of end-to-end finance processes, particularly R2R, with integration into P2P and O2C.

• Experience with financial data migration, reconciliation, and closing processes.

• Proficient in translating business requirements into scalable SAP solutions.

• Familiarity with Universal Journal (ACDOCA) and the GL functionality in S/4HANA.

• Knowledge of parallel accounting and ledger configuration.

• Awareness of Fiori apps and the S/4HANA finance user experience.

• Exposure to Central Finance, Group Reporting, or financial consolidation.

• Experience with SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) for reporting or planning purposes.

• Background in supporting global or multi-entity finance environments.

• SAP S/4HANA Finance certification or equivalent experience is preferred.

• Demonstrated ability to extend into broader cross-functional domains.

• Experience with SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud is an advantage.
