Senior Consultant, Professional Services

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with customers to help them recognize the value of EDB's open source-based database platform.

• Develop, articulate, and document a range of reference architectures that demonstrate the capabilities of the EDB Postgres Platform in OLTP and OLAP applications across various deployment models.

• Assist EDB's field teams (sales engineers and account executives) in challenging technical and architectural scenarios.

• Partner with EDB associates to design reference architectures that showcase EDB Postgres in relation to the partner's strengths.

• Mentor junior team members and facilitate their technical skill development.

• Contribute by writing blogs, white papers, and conference presentations.

• Work closely with Product Development and Product Management to enhance the functionalities of the EDB Postgres Platform.

• Collaborate with Product Marketing to convey the capabilities of the EDB Product Platform and produce technical marketing materials.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 8 years of professional experience in developing and deploying complex solutions within business contexts.

• Proficient in understanding customer needs and converting them into technical specifications.

• Practical experience with leading deployment models including containers, virtual machines, hypervisors, Puppet, Chef, Salt, Ansible, etc.

• Significant hands-on experience with PostgreSQL.

• Previous experience in a consulting or professional services environment.

• Exceptional communication and presentation abilities, both written and verbal.

• Willingness to travel domestically up to 20% of the time.
