This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Design, implement, and maintain an on-premises OpenShift Virtualization environment.
• Configure essential OpenShift infrastructure components, such as DNS, NTP, networking, and storage.
• Provision and manage bare-metal infrastructure.
• Oversee the lifecycle management of virtual machine and container workloads.
• Design networking architecture and integrate storage solutions.
• Set up authentication and RBAC, including integration with Okta.
• Manage OpenShift Operators effectively.
• Implement observability through logging, metrics collection, and alerting systems.
• Conduct OpenShift lifecycle management tasks, including updates and upgrades.
• Provide continuous operational and lifecycle support for the deployment.
• 7–9 years of relevant professional experience.
• In-depth knowledge of OpenShift Virtualization.
• Proven experience in supporting bare-metal, on-premises OpenShift Virtualization implementations.
• Familiarity with OpenShift core infrastructure, including DNS, NTP, networking, and storage configurations.
• Experience with bare-metal installations, Redfish technology, and Virtual Media.
• Proficiency in Hybrid Cloud Console, Agent-based Installer, and Assisted Installer.
• Expertise in OpenShift Virtualization and the Migration Toolkit for Virtualization (MTV).
• Skills in managing the lifecycle of virtual machine and container workloads.
• Strong understanding of OpenShift networking and port configurations.
• Experience with OVS bridges, Linux bridges, VLAN management, storage networking, and iSCSI.
• Red Hat Certified Specialist in OpenShift Virtualization Platform Operations certification.
• Knowledge of GitOps and Helm.
• Proficient in authentication and RBAC, including Okta integration and OpenShift RBAC.
• Experience in managing OpenShift Operators.
• Knowledge of observability practices using logging, metrics, and alerting.
• Familiarity with OpenShift lifecycle management, including updates and upgrades.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Must be open to remote work.
