Senior Consultant, Mobile Application Security

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Collaborate both independently and as part of a team to provide leadership and support.

• Conduct penetration testing on applications featuring intricate technology stacks from:

• A Blackbox perspective.

• A Whitebox perspective.

• Adapt your expertise while evaluating new or customized technologies.

• Contextualize vulnerabilities and evaluate their realistic impact on clients, considering mitigating and aggravating factors.

• Manage tasks and priorities effectively to meet utilization targets.

• Maintain professionalism in interactions with both internal teams and clients.

• Ensure timely delivery of high-quality reports and services.

• Uphold a robust depth of knowledge in your area of expertise.

• Work alongside project managers, quality management, sales, and other delivery team members to enhance customer satisfaction and fulfill project objectives.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficiency in application penetration testing and assessment methodologies (including browser-based, API, and mobile).

• Familiarity with at least two programming or scripting languages.

• Solid understanding of security principles and industry best practices.

• A minimum of 4 years of experience in a consulting or professional services role.

• At least 4 years of experience in Application Security and/or Software Development.

• Strong consulting abilities, including:

• Effective time management, multitasking while ensuring timely delivery, and escalating issues when necessary.

• Verbal communication skills for leading client calls during project kickoffs and debriefs.

• Proficient written communication skills.

• Experience in report writing for both executive and technical audiences.

• Required expertise in:

• Web Application Penetration Testing.

• Mobile Application Penetration Testing.

• Strong overall technical skills, with additional expertise in at least one of the following areas preferred:

• Thick Application Penetration Testing.

• Hardware Penetration Testing.

• Secure Code Review.

• Container Penetration Testing.

• Cloud Penetration Testing.

• Network Active Directory Penetration Testing.

• AI Penetration Testing.
