• Act as a trusted advisor to client stakeholders in Security, Compliance, Legal, IT, and Data leadership, offering clear guidance on how Microsoft Purview facilitates governance, regulatory requirements, and business empowerment.
• Facilitate client workshops, discovery sessions, and roadmap discussions to evaluate governance maturity, clarify risk posture, and establish realistic, outcome-focused Purview strategies.
• Convert intricate compliance and governance concepts into executive-level narratives linked to measurable outcomes such as decreased risk, audit preparedness, and enhanced data confidence.
• Oversee the comprehensive design and implementation of Microsoft Purview solutions across Microsoft 365, Azure, SaaS, and hybrid data environments, ensuring alignment with client goals and technical realities.
• Design and execute data discovery, scanning, cataloging, lineage, and classification capabilities to equip clients with a defensible understanding of their data landscape.
• Define and set up collections, role-based governance models, and access patterns that promote federated ownership while ensuring enterprise control.
• Develop and implement risk-based sensitivity labeling, encryption, retention, and DLP strategies that safeguard sensitive data without causing unnecessary friction for users.
• Lead the deployment of key Microsoft Purview compliance features, such as DLP, Insider Risk Management, and compliance reporting, in accordance with client regulatory and audit requirements.
• Assist clients during audit preparations, regulatory inquiries, and internal investigations, ensuring that Purview controls and reporting are defensible and thoroughly documented.
• Create operating models, governance playbooks, and standards that empower clients to sustain Purview beyond the initial rollout.
• Mentor and enhance the skills of client IT, security, compliance, and data owner teams, ensuring that Purview capabilities are comprehended, adopted, and integrated into daily operations.
• Counsel clients on ongoing Purview enhancements, platform updates, and optimization prospects as business needs and regulatory environments evolve.
• Assist clients in measuring and articulating value realization, including improvements in visibility, compliance efficiency, and risk mitigation.
• Over 5 years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Purview, covering: Data Governance (Data Map, Unified Catalog, lineage).
• Proficiency in Information Protection & Sensitivity Labels.
• Experience with Data Loss Prevention (DLP).
• Familiarity with Insider Risk and compliance tools.
• Strong grasp of Microsoft 365, Azure, identity, and hybrid architectures as they pertain to governance and security.
• Demonstrated experience in delivering client-facing consulting engagements, including discovery, design, implementation, and executive reporting.
• Capability to balance compliance rigor with business practicality, ensuring solutions are risk-aligned, usable, and sustainable.
• Confident facilitator and communicator, skilled at engaging from workshop facilitation to C-level presentations.
• This position requires availability during US working hours and professional fluency in English.
