This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois, +1 more state.
• Independently deliver impactful client-facing engagements and/or lead specific workstreams under the guidance of an engagement lead and principal consultants.
• Build and enhance LLM applications, which include AI Agents, RAG systems, evaluation pipelines, prompt chaining, and output refinement.
• Design, implement, and deploy GenAI pipelines utilizing tools such as DSPy, MLFlow, LangChain, LlamaIndex, and Databricks Mosaic AI.
• Engage directly with models like OpenAI GPT, LLaMA, Claude, and others—fine-tuning or prompt-tuning as necessary.
• Ingest and process both unstructured and structured data for integration into GenAI systems, encompassing document parsing, chunking, vectorization, and retrieval.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop custom UI and API integrations, as well as GenAI-powered user experiences.
• Apply enterprise-grade best practices for security, compliance, evaluation, and governance within GenAI projects.
• Create evaluation frameworks using MLFlow, Mosaic AI Eval tools, and both standard and custom metrics.
• Assist with CI/CD and DABs for AI applications, promoting code and model artifacts across various environments.
• Contribute to internal accelerators and reusable GenAI components as part of our expanding framework library.
• Work closely with senior leadership to design architecture and delivery strategies tailored to client requirements.
• B.S. in Computer Science or a related technical field.
• 2–3 years of experience in Machine Learning or NLP; with at least 1–2 years focused on LLMs or Generative AI systems, ideally on Databricks.
• Expertise with open-source LLM tools such as Hugging Face Transformers, LangChain, or similar orchestration libraries.
• Strong practical experience with Databricks (Unity Catalog, MLFlow, Delta Tables, etc.).
• Familiarity with GenAI-specific challenges, including hallucination mitigation, grounding techniques, and evaluation frameworks.
• Experience in designing and deploying applications with an emphasis on security, compliance, and scalability.
• Excellent communication skills and a proven ability to engage with both technical and business stakeholders.
