Senior Consultant – Datacom

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Deliver installation, configuration, and support for CA IDMS applications.

• Create and manage Datacom systems.

• Conduct performance analysis and resolve system issues.

• Carry out diagnostic evaluations of Datacom environments.

• Assist application developers with Datacom Database Manipulation.

• Execute online query navigation of databases.

• Ensure data integrity and secure dictionary management.

• Perform both logical and physical database design.

• Implement backup and recovery processes for all Datacom databases.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree with 8+ years of relevant experience; or a Master’s degree with 6+ years of relevant experience.

• 84 months of experience in the administration and maintenance of CA Datacom databases.

• Over 60 months of experience in Datacom system patching and maintenance.

• Over 60 months of experience in developing and sustaining backup and recovery procedures.

• Over 60 months of experience with the Data Dictionary Definition Language (DDDL) compiler, along with schema and subschema definitions.

• Over 60 months of experience in managing Datacom journals.

• Over 60 months of experience in Datacom Data Manipulation.

• Over 60 months of experience ensuring data integrity and dictionary security.

• Over 60 months of experience in data structure diagramming.
