This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.
• Serve as a Senior Consultant within the delivery team, assisting in the execution of business transformation initiatives, which include asset management consultancy, training, and information projects.
• Operate independently, take the lead, or collaborate with the broader US or global team to manage the full lifecycle of asset management transformation projects, from initiation to conclusion.
• Advise clients on enhancing their capabilities with a strong emphasis on asset management and related systems.
• Oversee and manage the execution of Asset Management projects for clients, adhering to AMCL's project governance standards.
• Identify and manage business development and sales initiatives, including recognizing new opportunities, assisting with bids, drafting proposals, and creating presentations.
• Execute project tasks, which may include facilitating workshops, preparing reports, and presenting findings.
• Develop and create Asset Management products in partnership with clients.
• Contribute to thought leadership on evolving business and asset management issues.
• At least six years of experience in an Infrastructure organization or as a consultant for such organizations.
• Familiarity with relevant Asset Management guidelines and standards, including ISO 5500X, the Institute of Asset Management’s Asset Management Anatomy, and the GFMAM Asset Management Landscape.
• Understanding the current practices and common challenges in Asset Management across various asset-intensive sectors, such as transportation, power, water, real estate, and municipalities.
• Knowledge of the essential elements and applications of an Asset Management Policy, Strategic Asset Management Plan, Asset Class Strategy or Lifecycle Management Plan, and Asset Management Plan, along with the typical stakeholders involved.
• Awareness of the asset lifecycle phases (Acquire, Operate, Maintain, Dispose) and the related decision-making processes, individuals, and information that support them, including Reliability Centered Maintenance.
• Experience with IT systems that facilitate Asset Management, the typical business drivers for IT procurement endeavors, and the systems engineering principles that lead to successful IT system acquisition and implementation.
• Comprehension of business management principles, including governance structures, performance management, risk management, and the management of change.
• Proficiency in end-to-end business processes such as Investment/Business Planning, Work Management, Inventory Management, Safety Management, or Procurement.
• Fundamental consulting skills and attributes including: Planning and Delivery, Team Collaboration, Integrity, Information Gathering and Analysis, Problem Solving and Solution Implementation, as well as Proficient Written and Verbal Communication.
