Senior Consultant – Data & Analytics, Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, Databricks

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Convert business requirements into scalable and efficient data models and dashboards.

• Take ownership and manage the delivery of multiple client projects concurrently.

• Collaborate with distributed teams across the U.S. and India to achieve exceptional consulting results.

• Maintain and enhance existing solutions by adding new features and developing additional data pipelines.

• Lead the design and execution of comprehensive data solutions utilizing Microsoft Fabric.

• Construct and refine Power BI reporting ecosystems, including semantic models and enterprise reporting strategies.

• Work with Databricks and contemporary data platforms to facilitate advanced data engineering and analytical use cases.

• Interact directly with business stakeholders and executives to establish reporting strategies and data roadmaps.

⛳️ Requirements

• Practical experience with Microsoft Fabric (Lakehouse, Warehouse, Dataflows Gen2, Pipelines).

• Solid comprehension of modern data architecture (medallion/layered design, OneLake concepts).

• Proven experience in developing end-to-end analytics solutions within Fabric.

• Familiarity with real-time analytics, data integration, and unified analytics platforms.

• Extensive expertise in Power BI development, modeling, and optimization.

• Strong background in DAX and performance tuning.

• Experience with semantic models and enterprise reporting.

• Proficiency in Power Query and data transformation techniques.

• Experience in paginated reporting.

• Knowledge of governance and deployment best practices.

• Experience working with Databricks in Azure environments.

• Understanding of Spark-based processing.

• Experience with ELT pipelines and large-scale data transformation.

• Integration experience with data lakes and Fabric environments.

• Exposure to AI/ML workloads is advantageous.

• Experience with Azure data services (Data Factory, ADLS Gen2, Azure SQL, Synapse).

• Knowledge of star schema and dimensional modeling.

• Experience working with structured and unstructured data sources and APIs.

• Prior consulting experience.
