This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• The Senior Consultant is responsible for leading project implementations, fostering innovation, mentoring junior team members, and collaborating with leadership to enhance continuous improvement.
• Within the project framework, the role involves building client relationships, effectively applying Agile project delivery methodologies, and implementing scalable and efficient technical architectures to meet client needs.
• Conduct hands-on implementations of Microsoft data solutions for MCA Connect’s current and future clients/projects.
• Facilitate requirements gathering sessions and document client needs.
• Design and implement dimensional models.
• Create, maintain, and support complex data integration pipelines.
• Design and develop Power BI Reports, Dashboards, and Applications.
• Present proposed solutions, demonstrating functionality and rationale for implementation.
• Identify opportunities for optimization and plan for their implementation.
• Mentor junior team members.
• Conduct working sessions with clients.
• Manage and delegate ad hoc requests from clients.
• Troubleshoot BI solutions, identify issues, and enhance performance and security.
• Design Azure DevOps backlogs, sprints, and lead project delivery.
• Oversee the project team and source code management.
• Acquire professional certifications to support our partner designations.
• Generate new revenue through successful delivery, client relationships, and some pre-sales support.
• 5+ years of experience in Data Warehousing (Azure/SQL/Synapse/Spark/Delta Lake), ETL (ADF Pipelines/SSIS), Analysis Services, DAX, Power BI Pro and Premium, or equivalent experience.
• Strong understanding of various Azure cloud data platforms and services.
• Proven experience in designing and implementing data solutions for complex business challenges.
• Experience with projects involving large datasets, preferably in the Manufacturing sector.
• Proven ability to communicate effectively with technical teams, business stakeholders, and other relevant parties.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience is preferred.
• Familiarity with Microsoft ERP and CRM tools is desirable.
• Knowledge of Kimball Dimensional Modeling and batch/incremental ETL development methods.
• Experience with database performance tuning activities.
• Experience in developing and managing data quality monitoring and a solid understanding of data governance methodologies.
