This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Conduct thorough evaluations of customer networks and systems to pinpoint compliance deficiencies and/or verify alignment with the mandated CMMC level requirements.
• Provide guidance to clients regarding Microsoft GCCH and Amazon Gov cloud boundary scopes, SSP documentation, and industry best practices.
• Collaborate with customers to design and implement security measures and controls that align with CMMC standards, safeguarding sensitive data and systems from potential threats.
• Work alongside various customer teams to devise and execute action plans essential for achieving CMMC compliance.
• Effectively communicate the CMMC program to customer stakeholders at all levels to ensure comprehension and adherence to cybersecurity best practices.
• Assist clients in reviewing and updating existing security policies and procedures to remain in sync with the evolving CMMC requirements and best practices in cybersecurity.
• Create comprehensive reports detailing the status of an organization's CMMC compliance.
• Stay informed about the latest cybersecurity threats and trends, as well as updates to the CMMC framework.
• Meet utilization targets, complete projects within deadlines and budgets, and uphold quality standards.
• Oversee project delivery, scheduling, and coordination of both internal and customer resources for conducting interviews, meetings, and presentations.
• Prepare and deliver impactful, professional presentations on subject matter to both customers and internal SilverSky stakeholders.
• Gain knowledge and support the ongoing development of SilverSky’s service offerings, marketing materials, statement of work (SOW) structure, methodologies, delivery standards, work tools, and processes.
• Pursue further education and stay updated on best practices, technical skills, and tools relevant to the responsibilities of the position.
• This role entails significant interaction with both internal and external stakeholders, such as colleagues, customers, partners, and subcontractors. A strong customer service orientation and the capability to work independently on a variety of consulting projects simultaneously are essential.
• The ideal candidate should exhibit strong organizational skills, effective writing abilities, communication skills, and the aptitude to identify and manage client engagement risks and issues.
• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a minimum of 4 years of equivalent experience in IT security, risk management, or compliance.
• Previous experience with Microsoft GCCH and AWS Gov clouds is essential.
• Current certification as a Certified CMMC Professional (CCP) is strongly preferred, or the capability to obtain the CCP credential under the CMMC version 2.0 framework within an agreed timeframe.
• Aiming to achieve a Certified CMMC Assessor (CCA) credential under the CMMC version 2.0 framework is required.
• Extensive knowledge of the CMMC framework, NIST SP 800-171, and DFARS 252.204-7012 regulations is necessary.
• Exceptional problem-solving abilities and the capability to perform effectively under pressure.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex security concepts for non-technical personnel.
• Proven ability to lead projects and drive them to successful completion.
• Self-motivated individuals who can work independently, seek and utilize internal resources as needed, proactively take ownership of their work and career, and manage engagements to deliver the value that our customers expect.
• Relevant experience and a track record of successfully leading and delivering consulting engagements.
• Relevant technical training, project management training, and certifications such as CISSP.
• Strong analytic and problem-solving capabilities, particularly in the realms of information systems, security, and privacy.
• Highly effective verbal communication and presentation skills in a customer-oriented setting.
• Excellent technical writing skills, especially regarding information system, security, and privacy topics, policies, and procedures.
