Senior Consultant, Azure Government – CMMC

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.

📋 Description

• Provide expert guidance—assist clients in navigating Azure Government, Microsoft 365 GCC High, CMMC Level 2, NIST SP 800-171, and other crucial frameworks.

• Drive transformation—oversee impactful cloud migrations, compliance remediation efforts, and digital modernization initiatives from inception to execution.

• Deliver with precision—develop Statements of Work (SOWs), estimates, Plans of Action and Milestones (POAMs), and reports that are clear, concise, and ready for executive evaluation.

• Build trust—establish enduring client relationships through measurable outcomes and outstanding communication.

• Elevate our edge—cultivate internal best practices, create solution accelerators, and share knowledge to enhance the overall team capabilities.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 7 years of experience in cybersecurity, cloud architecture, compliance consulting, or Microsoft Government settings.

• More than 3 years of expertise in Microsoft 365—Advanced skills with GCC High, Azure AD, Intune, Defender, Purview, and Sentinel.

• Compliance leadership—Practical understanding of CMMC Level 2, NIST SP 800-171, ISO 27001, NIST SP 800-53, and FedRAMP.

• Documentation & governance skills—Proficient in developing POAMs, managing RMF packages, and providing SSP/SPR/MED advisory.

• Tool familiarity—Experience with GRC platforms, AvePoint, Nerdio, ERP tools, and Azure Migrate.

• Project delivery success—Proven history of leading cloud migrations, modernization, or compliance remediation projects.

• Client-ready communication—Excellent capability to draft estimates, SOWs, and other client-facing documentation.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills suitable for both technical and executive audiences.

• Security eligibility—U.S. Citizenship and the ability to obtain a DoD Secret clearance.
