Senior Consultant, Advocacy Center

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.

📋 Description

• Act as a champion for associates as they navigate and resolve intricate workplace challenges.

• Resolve disputes that remain unresolved between managers or colleagues.

• Support associates in their internal job searches and placements.

• Assist associates in acquiring the resources or information necessary for effective job performance.

• Engage empathetically with associates and clearly articulate their concerns.

• Advocate independently on behalf of associates throughout the resolution process.

• Develop both strategic and tactical solutions.

• Identify potential legal concerns and refer issues to the Advice and Counsel Center for further investigation.

• Assess, collaborate, and escalate matters to HR centers of expertise as needed.

• Analyze case trends and data to uncover opportunities for training and continuous improvement.

• Carry out additional responsibilities as assigned by the supervisor.

• Maintain a strong focus on safety, quality, and efficiency as part of a High Reliability Organization.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent professional experience.

• Degree in Human Resources or a related discipline.

• Minimum of three years of HR or related experience is required.

• 3–5 years of experience in HR, customer service, or a related field.

• Capability to identify and advocate for issues concerning human resources and/or associate relations.

• Skill in connecting with associates compassionately while understanding and articulating their issues.

• Authority for independent decision-making.

• Ability to recognize potential legal matters that need referral to the Advice and Counsel Center.

• Capacity to evaluate, collaborate, and escalate issues to HR centers of expertise.

• Proficiency in analyzing case trends and data.

• Availability for day shift work.

• Willingness to work 40 hours per week.
