This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
β’ Architect and oversee scalable release orchestration workflows across cloud-native, SaaS, enterprise, and AI product environments, ensuring quality gates and automated validation throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
β’ Design and sustain enterprise Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) platforms, implementing advanced delivery strategies such as blue/green deployments, canary releases, and phased rollouts.
β’ Lead the packaging of enterprise software and manage the artifact lifecycle, which includes SBOM generation, artifact signing, provenance tracking, dependency validation, and binary integrity verification.
β’ Establish frameworks for release governance with clear Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) β deployment frequency, change failure rate, Mean Time to Recovery (MTTR), and lead time β to enhance operational stability and minimize incidents.
β’ Integrate DevSecOps principles into release workflows, collaborating with Security Engineering to implement scanning, policy enforcement, compliance automation, and vulnerability validation.
β’ Act as the technical authority on release engineering standards, providing mentorship to engineers and guiding teams in release automation, deployment strategies, and CI/CD best practices.
β’ Relay information regarding release readiness, operational risks, and deployment strategies to both technical and executive stakeholders.
β’ Over 8 years of experience in Release Engineering, DevOps, Platform Engineering, or Site Reliability Engineering (SRE).
β’ Proven experience leading the architecture of release and artifact management platforms at an enterprise level, which includes artifact signing, supply chain integrity, and secrets management.
β’ More than 3 years of experience managing Azure and Azure DevOps environments.
β’ Strong expertise in Terraform, Ansible, cloud-init, Bash, and GitOps for infrastructure automation.
β’ A successful track record of technical leadership: mentoring senior engineers, leading cross-team initiatives, and promoting organization-wide release practices.
β’ A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field of experience.
