Senior Compliance Manager

📋 Description

• Serve as the key and authoritative point of contact for US state regulators, adeptly managing complex inquiries, audits, and sensitive regulatory situations with diplomacy and precision.

• Oversee, review, and guarantee complete consistency for all routine and ad-hoc reports submitted to gaming authorities across all active jurisdictions.

• Direct the strategic response to regulatory inquiries, data requests, and formal investigations, ensuring that Strive Gaming's interests are safeguarded and compliance is upheld.

• Manage the compliance gatekeeping process for product launches, feature updates, and platform enhancements, ensuring full adherence to GLI-33 standards and state-specific technical regulations.

• Collaborate extensively with Product, Engineering, and DevOps teams to examine change logs, evaluate regulatory risks, and approve deployments in a fast-paced CI/CD environment.

• Compose comprehensive incident reports and remediation plans for regulatory submission, showcasing effective corrective actions to mitigate corporate liability.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 4–5 years of direct compliance experience in the North American iGaming or sports betting sector.

• Demonstrated, hands-on experience in managing relationships and resolving intricate issues with US gaming regulators.

• Strong comprehension of technical compliance, including GLI-33 standards, change control frameworks, and release management within a cloud-based software ecosystem.

• Proven track record in leading incident management processes, carrying out post-mortem analyses, and preparing regulatory disclosures under tight deadlines.

• Exceptional pragmatism, situational judgment, and communication skills necessary to inspire confidence among both internal executive stakeholders and external regulators.

• A natural ability to thrive in chaotic environments, suited for a high-growth technology setting where change is frequent.
