
Senior Compliance Contract Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Act as a subject matter expert and strategic collaborator responsible for the comprehensive development, drafting, and management of client Administrative Services Agreements (ASAs) and associated contract documents.
• Utilize a significant level of independent judgment to ensure that ASAs and associated contract documents are delivered timely and accurately.
• Work closely with Compliance leadership and cross-functional teams to provide high-quality, compliant, and scalable contract solutions.
• Manage the complete lifecycle of client contracts, including drafting, revision, execution, and continuous management of ASAs.
• Develop and uphold contract governance standards, ensuring uniformity, compliance, and alignment with organizational goals.
• Mentor and guide less experienced team members.
• Identify opportunities for enhancing operational efficiency, shortening cycle times, and reinforcing compliance controls.
• Offer guidance and consultative support to internal stakeholders regarding contract terms.
• Collaborate with Client Services, Sales, Compliance, and other departments to address contract-related issues and ensure alignment on client deliverables.
• Supervise the tracking and reporting of ASA contract statuses, ensuring timely distribution of ASA contracts to internal stakeholders.
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of experience in contract management and/or compliance, ideally in a healthcare or employee benefits administration setting.
• Advanced understanding of ASAs and related contractual frameworks.
• Strong knowledge of federal and state regulatory requirements affecting self-funded health plans.
• Experience in leading process improvement, standardization, or operational initiatives.
• Professional certifications in compliance, contracts, or legal disciplines (e.g., CHC, CRCM, JD).
• Excellent analytical skills.
• Exceptional oral and written communication abilities.
• Strong organizational capabilities.
• Capacity to prioritize and manage highly detailed work efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to build and maintain rapport and collaborate effectively with internal staff at all levels, as well as with clients, brokers, and regulatory agency contacts.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
• Familiarity with contract management systems and document tracking tools.
