Safety & Compliance Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.

📋 Description

• Act as the main point of contact for safety and compliance with designated service partners.

• Ensure that service partner drivers adhere to compliance standards by performing routine driver file audits and reviewing necessary documentation.

• Confirm new driver qualifications and ensure that all required paperwork is complete prior to onboarding.

• Carry out vehicle inspections and oversee compliance with safety regulations.

• Visit service partners and school districts to provide on-site assistance and foster strong working relationships.

• Regularly meet with service partners to discuss compliance expectations and address safety issues.

• Work in collaboration with school districts to ensure that transportation operations align with contractual and regulatory standards.

• Keep precise compliance records and documentation.

• Identify potential compliance challenges and take proactive steps with partners to resolve them.

• Travel across Florida and occasionally out of state to support service partners and district operations.

⛳️ Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent is mandatory.

• Preferred experience includes vehicle inspections and familiarity with transportation safety practices.

• Strong organizational and communication abilities are essential.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Workplace/Microsoft Office applications is required.
