This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Gather and formulate guidance from various information levels and sources (technical, business, field, external) and consistently present essential insights to the field and senior leadership.
• Deliver a field-actionable, comprehensive, and continuously evolving understanding and analysis of competitive dynamics concerning CrowdStrike solutions and capabilities.
• Act as the strategic advisor for the company in this market, becoming the "go-to" subject matter expert on the market for all business units and functions.
• Offer customized deal support (opportunity assessments & guidance) and cultivate a strong relationship with the field.
• Collaborate closely with various teams within CrowdStrike, including key stakeholders (Office of the CTO, field leadership, sales ops, product, and marketing teams), serving as the primary liaison for cross-functional corporate initiatives aimed at enhancing market share, including the direct creation of competitive support materials and competitive readiness plans.
• Recommend sales tactics and product strategies to empower CrowdStrike to succeed in the market.
• Be a proactive individual with an ownership mentality. Work independently in developing project plans, requirements, timelines, content, and ongoing tracking/updates of the competition.
• Utilize executive sponsorship to collaborate across the company to implement your programs and drive success.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in the Cyber Security market, with a strong focus on endpoint security.
• Field-relevant experience in endpoint or cloud security is essential.
• At least 5 years of relevant work experience (ideal candidates will have experience in at least TWO of the following areas): sales engineer/pre-sales, field-facing competitive intelligence, solution architect, sales operations, product management, technical marketing, or professional services.
• Demonstrated capability to synthesize complex technical concepts into actionable guidance and executive summaries for the field.
• Exceptional communication skills, including experience presenting to senior and executive-level management.
• Strong people and project management skills to oversee projects and foster rapport with staff, colleagues, cross-functional teams, and third parties.
• In-depth understanding of customer motivations, pain points, and strategies to influence.
• Bonus Points: Direct experience with customers (as a customer, or in a customer support or field role).
• Practical experience with products (whether evaluating/testing or in production).
