Senior CloudOps Engineer – Observability

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Czechia.

📋 Description

• Crafting, constructing, and managing our comprehensive observability strategy (metrics, logs, and distributed traces) for our distributed cloud infrastructure.

• Overseeing the Wrike product infrastructure.

• Deploying dependable solutions to maintain a product uptime SLA of 99.9%.

• Collaborating with GCP, AWS, and other cloud providers within the IaC framework.

• Introducing and supporting new infrastructure services.

• Actively engaging in incident response and management, including on-call responsibilities.

• Building and nurturing professional relationships both within and outside the team.

⛳️ Requirements

• Experience with Kafka and RabbitMQ for messaging.

• Proficiency in Kubernetes and ArgoCD (Service-oriented architecture).

• Familiarity with Nginx, HAproxy, and Istio for load balancing.

• Knowledge of GCP, AWS, and Cloudflare as primary cloud service providers.

• Expertise in Puppet, Ansible, and Terraform for infrastructure as code.

• Proficient in Python for automation tasks.

• Experience with Prometheus (VictoriaMetrics) and Zabbix for monitoring purposes.

• Knowledge of logging tools such as Graylog, Logstash, and Fluentd.

• Experience with Jenkins and GitLab-CI for building pipelines.

• Upper Intermediate proficiency in English.
