Senior Cloud Platform Engineer, Azure

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and sustain Azure-based infrastructures utilizing Terraform modules for IaaS and PaaS resources.

• Engage in new projects as well as enhancements and upkeep of existing production environments.

• Manage, oversee, and provide support for Azure environments spanning multiple subscriptions.

• Diagnose incidents related to IaaS and PaaS, ensuring compliance with service level agreements (SLAs).

• Generate and maintain technical documentation, architecture diagrams, playbooks, runbooks, and best practices.

• Offer technical advice and recommendations on architecture and application design to internal teams.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to guarantee the availability, performance, and security of environments.

• Assist with automation, CI/CD, and infrastructure-as-code initiatives.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience with core Azure services, including Azure Resource Manager.

• Proficiency with Virtual Machines and Scale Sets.

• Experience with Storage options such as Blob and Files.

• Knowledge of Networking components, including VNets, NSGs, Load Balancers, Application Gateways, DNS, and Private Link.

• A minimum of 3 years’ experience administering Linux and/or Windows Server.

• At least 3 years of experience with Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).

• Minimum of 2 years of experience working with Terraform.

• Experience in troubleshooting and supporting cloud environments.

• Capability to work independently and proactively.

• Strong organizational abilities, along with effective communication and teamwork skills.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

• Familiarity with BICEP and/or ARM Templates is a plus.

• Experience with CI/CD processes using Azure DevOps Pipelines or GitHub Actions (YAML).

• Understanding of configuration management tools, preferably Ansible.

• Experience with Kafka, MongoDB, and/or Elasticsearch is an advantage.

• Scripting skills in Bash, Shell Script, or PowerShell.

• Strong interpersonal communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams.
