Senior Cloud Engineer – GCP

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Design and develop a cloud-native platform architecture utilizing GCP.

• Establish scalable guardrails for setups involving multiple teams and environments that meet compliance standards.

• Create reusable infrastructure to facilitate self-service provisioning.

• Define cloud governance policies, including IAM strategies, organizational guidelines, and policy-as-code.

• Draft design documents and represent technical divisions in cross-team and leadership discussions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive hands-on experience with GCP.

• Experience with Kubernetes in production settings, focusing on networking, security, tenancy, and lifecycle management.

• Proficiency in Terraform at the module-authoring level, beyond just consumer usage.

• Strong understanding of networking fundamentals, including VPC design, CIDR planning, DNS, and hybrid connectivity.

• Experience in compliance-driven environments, such as SOC2 or PCI-DSS.

• Familiarity with GitOps methodology and associated tools.

• Experience with observability stacks, including metrics, structured logging, and tracing.

• Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly, including writing and defending design documents.
